People ask us why our products are produced in China? Many reasons for this. We wish they could be produced here in the USA but if you are not willing to pay $100 for a pair of sunglasses then it is not possible. American employees wages are so much higher than that of other countries like China. The minimum wage here in Oregon is around $8 per hour a Chinese worker makes less than this in one day. We are sure you understand why so many things are manufactured out of the US.

What can we do about this. Well I guess if you able to pay $100 or more for a pair of sunglasses than this is one solution. Americans could stop buying items produced in other countries but then we may not be wearing anything or even driving anything for this matter. It is easy to say stop buying things made in China but around 90% of all things are made in China. It is amazing many people who complain about his problem still buy the goods made in other countries.

We think it would be nice to see companies like Microsoft, Intel and other major companies keep the work here in the US but as you have seen the work is being sourced out to other countries because of the labor costs and other reasons. Hopefully the US as a nation can figure out what to do to help our economy and stop putting the work in other countries this would be nice.
